DC Direct’s Cover Girls of the Universe line of statues continues on strong with its fifth piece, Power Girl. I have to admit, this is the first statue from this series that hasn’t completely wowed me straight out of the box…but for some reason I can’t place *exactly* what’s bothering me about it. [...]

Each month I get excited around mid-month to see what DC Direct has to offer in the way of statues, and as usual this month offers no disappointment. For starters, my favorite line of minibusts, the Women of the DC Universe will have Amanda Conner’s Power Girl added to its third series. The [...]

DC Direct has announced two more additions to their Anime-inspired Ame-Comi line. The next two additions are Star Sapphire and Jade. I’m pretty happy to see Star Sapphire get some love in this line, but reeeaaaaallly would have liked to see her get some recognition in the Women/Cover Girls of the DC Universe [...]

DC Direct’s 13″ line continues with an interesting but welcomed choice, Terry McGinnis as Batman Beyond from the cartoon series of the same name. Bruce Wayne has gotten old and retired from the superhero biz, and the young McGinnis steps in to fill the shoes of Gotham’s vigilante crimebuster.

I’m introducing a new mini-feature on the site today, just to prove that sometimes I’m just too damn lazy to do a full-on review of some things. It’s called “Two-Minute Reviews”, and in this reviews I’ll take an encapsulated look at certain action figures. The first Two-Minute Review will be six figures from [...]
